'Jazz Review' Oct '08 - Glenn Astarita

“Galsworthy renders hauntingly beautiful vocals atop the probing, thematic developments”

'THE WIRE' Jan 09 - DAVID KEENAN

“sounding slow, hymnal chords and ascending melodies beneath Sonja Galsworthy's rapturous vocal and Oliver Coates's cello "tommy 1940" feels like a requiem for the English Neverland that British soldiers left behind during the Second World War”

François Couture

“Sonja Galsworthy's vocals in "Red Ice" adds a touch of melancholy”

“But the duo (Carolyn Hume & Paul May) is at its best when playing with singer Sonja Galsworthy: "Untitled" is a haunting song without words”

TESTIMONIALS

Great party atmosphere @starleatherhead last night. Chasing Adele tribute act was brilliant. Thank you! It was a great night. looking forward to seeing you again soon

We hired Sonja for our annual charity gala dinner (June 2018) to perform her Adele tribute. We had over 250 people present and everyone I have seen since organising the event, commented on what a great performance she gave. I met Sonja at the event early, before she transformed her look into Adele! She went on to not only look but sing like her... it was phenomenal!

Will definitely be booking again... Thank you Sonja (Adele)

Sonja recently provided the entertainment for our evening wedding anniversary party in a marquee. She was easy to deal with and making arrangements was very straightforward. She sang two, hour long sessions of her "So Diva” party set, and also provided background music through her PA system before the first set and in between the two sets. All the music was good but Sonja's singing was particularly excellent and got people on their feet. Loads of our friends commented how good she was and how much they enjoyed it. I would have no hesitation in recommending her or using her again

Last night I went to see Sonja sing live for the first time. I already knew she was good from hearing a recording once but I was blown away by hearing her live.

She did two sets. The first was Adele covers which she did very well, sending shivers down my spine at one stage. However, her second act was even better.

The power in her voice that was apparent but seemed to be kept within check in the first act was unleashed as she entertained and played with the crowd. She got a host of us up on the floor with classic after classic.

I would recommend Sonja for any event at which people want to get up and strut their stuff, be entertained, sing along or just listen.

Sonja Galsworthy, you're amazing. Keep doing what you do so well!

Well what a performance!! Great Adele tribute act which was followed after a well deserved break with some brilliant Soul Diva Classics which didn't fail to get the party atmosphere going. Well done Sonja

Fantastic night and a great place. The youngsters apparently found it 'banging'. I heartily concur and am looking forward to the next one. Well done, Sonja

I've played with some of the best in my long musical 'career' - Sonja has always ranked high up there with the best vocalists. Well done indeed!
